Privacy

VibeBook is an independent, early-stage project. For anything on this page, including data questions and deletion requests, write to hello@myvibebook.com.

• ·Account data. Your email address and password are held by Supabase Auth, our authentication provider. VibeBook never stores your password.
• ·Profile. Username, display name, bio, location, avatar and any links you add (website, GitHub, X, Facebook, Reddit). Everything in your profile is public by design once onboarding is complete.
• ·Builds and content. Products, descriptions, logos, screenshots, videos, files, related links, build tools and Shipping Log updates you publish.
• ·Discussions. Comments and replies on products and shipping updates, your reactions, and mentions of other builders.
• ·Social activity. Follows, saves, upvotes and shipping reactions.
• ·Notifications. Records of events addressed to you, readable only by you.
• ·Waitlists. If you join a build's waitlist, your email is stored for that build's owner. Waitlist emails are not public and are not shown to other visitors.
• ·Moderation records. Reports you submit and moderation actions taken by administrators, kept as an audit trail.

VibeBook records lightweight product and profile view counts and outbound link clicks so builders can see how their work is doing. We do not claim to be tracking-free.

• ·Each visitor gets a random identifier stored in your browser. It is not derived from your IP address, device or any fingerprint.
• ·We store the referring site's hostname, not the full referring URL.
• ·We do not store IP addresses in analytics rows, and we do not fingerprint devices.
• ·Repeat views are collapsed into one row per visitor, per target, per hour.
• ·Raw analytics rows are private. Builders see aggregate counts for their own builds only.
• ·We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party advertising or tracking network.

We use browser storage for two things: keeping you signed in (a session managed by Supabase Auth) and the random analytics visitor identifier described above. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• ·Supabase — database, authentication and file storage. Your account, content and uploads live there.
• ·Our hosting provider — serves the application and processes standard web request logs.
• ·Email delivery — transactional email only (confirmation and password reset), sent through Supabase Auth and its configured delivery provider. We do not send marketing email.

These providers process data on our behalf so the service can function. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

VibeBook is a public showcase, so assume anything you publish is visible to anyone, including people who are not signed in: your profile, your builds, your Shipping Log, your comments and your reactions. Your email address is never shown publicly.

Builds you keep private, and content an administrator has hidden, are excluded from public pages, discovery, the homepage and the sitemap.

Email hello@myvibebook.com from your account address and we will delete your account, profile, builds and uploads. Because this is an early-stage project, deletion is handled manually rather than through a self-service button. Moderation records may be retained where needed to keep the platform safe.

Access to your data is enforced in the database itself through row-level security, not only in the interface. We take that seriously and test it. No service can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise.

VibeBook is a small, early-stage platform. This page describes current behaviour rather than claiming certification under any particular regime. If you have a specific data request under a law that applies to you, contact us and we will do our best to honour it.
